FINANCE & BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER – 30 HOURS PER WEEK DURING TERM TIME
APT&C SCALE 5 POINTS 12-18 £26,421 up to £29,269 pro rata
Actual salary = £19,023 up to £21,073 per year
This is an exciting opportunity to join our inspirational and inclusive school. Experience of undertaking a similar role in a school or other educational setting is beneficial but not essential. We are a happy and thriving school committed to equality and diversity. Duties will include:
- Collection and banking of monies
- Reconciliation of bank statements
- Processing orders and payment of invoices
- Maintaining the Sage Accounts system
- Business and operational support for the Finance & Operations Director

- GCSE 9-5 (A*-C) or equivalent in Maths and English?
- A systematic approach to keeping accurate and comprehensive financial records?
- Accomplished planning, time management and organisational skills?
- Personal commitment to continuous self-development?
- Outstanding communication and team working skills?
- The ability to work on your own initiative while also contributing positively to the team

Person Specification
Candidates will need to meet the requirements of the person specification. This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check together with Identity, Right to Work, pre-employment medical and reference checks. An online search will also be carried out as part of due diligence on all shortlisted candidates.
