Tamworth Steel is a family business established in 1973 John Ratledge and now run by his son, Jon Ratledge, both Old Veseyans.
We are a quality assured multi-product stockist, certified to ISO 9001, and offer a wide range of black and bright mild steels, structural steels, alloys, sheet/plate, welded mesh plus a full cutting and fabrication service.

About the services:
In addition to our wide stockholding we offer many associated services such as cutting to size, both one-offs and batch quantities; drilling; sawing; shearing; profiling; grinding and welding supplies. As a legal requirement, Tamworth Steel is fully compliant with UKCA requirements to BS EN 1090-1 (formerly CE marking) and can manufacture structural steel fabrications up to and including Execution Class 2.
Our extensive stock range is backed up by test certification and traceability, enabling us to respond immediately to any demands.
We are also an agent for BOC, supplying industrial gases.
