Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School is a state Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands. There are currently 1170 students at the school with 770 boys at age 11-15 and a mixed gender Sixth Form of 400 Students.
Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School (BVGS) is relentless in the pursuit of an exceptional education, embodying both inspiration and excellence. Together, we share the aspirations of our founder, John Vesey, who wrote in 1527 that his newly founded school might enable young people to flourish and “more happily live.”
