APT&C SCALE 6/SO1 points 19-25 £25,927 to £30,095 per year pro-rata

Actual salary = £24,112 up to £27,988 per year (dependant upon experience)

We have an exciting key vacancy for an Examination Officer in our dynamic and progressive academy. The successful candidate will share

This is a full time role during term time with the requirement to work 3 weeks in August including both A’ Level and GCSE results days.
In addition, during the 5 week ‘Public Exam Period’ in May and June each year, to work from 7.15 am each day in order to facilitate the
prompt and efficient start to exams across a number of venues on our school site. Previous exam experience would be advantageous.

Duties will include:

  • Administration and management of both public and internal examinations
  • Recruitment and management of the Exam Invigilation Team
  • Management of the daily running of external examinations
  • Preparation, organisation and secure storage of examination materials
  • Distribution of examination results to students

  • A systematic approach to workload management?
  • Accomplished planning, time management and organisational skills?
  • Outstanding communication and team working skills?

Are you:

  • Proactive, self-motivated and intuitive?
  • Flexible in your approach to work?
  • Educated to GCSE level A*-C or equivalent in English and Maths?
  • Able to converse at ease with parents, carers, students and members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English?
