The school has excellent links with Veseyans Rugby, which is the main exit route for students wanting to continue playing rugby when they leave school. The club's 1st XV currently ply their trade in Midlands 2 West North at Level 7 in the RFU league framework. There are currently three senior sides, an U19 Colts and junior sides from U16-12. The club has undertaken impressive developments recently, with over £350k invested by adding four new changing rooms, a strength and conditioning suite, full floodlighting to the training pitch, and acquired and developed a fourth junior rugby pitch. Investment has also been made to double the size of the car park and also extend the kitchen and catering facilities. The ground is owned by the OVA, known as the Memorial Ground is situated on Little Hardwick Rd, Walsall, West Midlands WS9 0SQ.
All students of the school of any age or ability are welcome to attend training sessions on Sunday mornings at the club from 10.00am that run from the start of September to the end of April. There are currently over 30 Old Veseyans involved with the senior squad, whilst Dan Hemingway (OV 2000-07) is the Forwards coach and Head of Strength and Conditioning.
