Sport plays a significant role at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School. In addition to the part played in the Curriculum by Physical Education there are numerous opportunities at Bishop Vesey’s to take part in a range of sports.
The major games activities in the Michaelmas and Lent terms are rugby, hockey, cross-country, rowing and netball, whilst cricket, athletics, rowing and tennis occupy the summer term.
In addition the school runs a huge range of sports clubs, outside of lesson time which are available to everyone.
The quality of coaching provision at the school is exceptional across all the sports with ex- professional sportsman in both the full time PE teaching staff and additional specialist coaches.
